In January, this figure was a lowly 3%. That’s a big swing in the free play direction.
So, it looks like there's a free bingo revolution going on among players, and an online bingo war among operators! Interesting situation.... As to why this has happened?? Well, it surely has to be a combination of things. Regardless, bottom line is; if people have no money, it doesn’t matter how good the thing is you're selling. They can’t buy it!
Clearly, the recession has a lot to answer for. A lot of players simply cannot afford a night out at their local Bingo Hall. Online Bingo is the economical option. Plus now, with the introduction of free play bingo sites, players really do get to have their cake and eat it! How many of the pay to play sites can survive the change, has yet to be seen.
