St Minver Websites To Run GTECH G2 Software

  • St Minver Websites To Run GTECH G2 Software

GTECH G2 may be a newcomer to the online gaming industry, but that doesn’t seem to be cooling their heels in any way.  The news that GTECH would be replacing the Parlay Entertainment software, on all eighty of the St Minver sites, was announced at the EiG in Copenhagen.  Despite the fact that Parlay Entertainment seem to be splashing the cash, buying up anything they can get their hands on, profits were down for the first half of 2009. Whether the latest move by St Minver will have any great affect, is yet to be seen.

Although GTECH are a relatively new venture, they do own St Minver.  Therefore, it could have been assumed, chances were, they were going to change over to their own software. The GTECH software will replace the Parlay Entertainment software on every site;  Including the Boss Media Bingo network, as well as the International Bingo Network.  The change over won’t be happening for a few months yet, targeted for next February, 2010.

That wasn’t the only announcement GTECH made at the EiG.  They also broke the news that they would be releasing new Bingo software, Bingo 2.2.  A Swedish operator will be the first to launch the new software, Hem Bingo.  The new software is multi language, multi currency, and can support linked games.  GTECH believe the Bingo 2.2 software will allow their clients to “pool liquidity and maximize the jackpots”.  Although new to the scene, GTECH G2 seem hell bent on making an impact.  Their software also holds many promises.  It will be updated every three months, ensuring the online Bingo experience remains exciting and problem free.  Something that is overlooked by too many of the online operators and software providers.  This should get them up on their toes!
